From research idea to practice

Alpha Pliroforiki S.A. invests in research and innovation, developing cloud and hybrid platforms, artificial intelligence applications and data-analysis mechanisms. We actively participate in national and European research projects, in collaboration with universities, research institutions and businesses.

For Alpha, Research and Development is not limited to building an experimental prototype. Our goal is to turn a scientific idea into a secure, functional and scalable digital solution that can be validated under real-world conditions and used after the project is completed.

We take part in designing the solution architecture, developing applications and databases, processing data and integrating machine-learning algorithms. We also handle systems integration and interoperability, cloud infrastructure, testing and technical documentation.

Our research activity includes collaborations with the Democritus University of Thrace, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the National Technical University of Athens.

Infrastructure & technology tools

We support research projects with Cloud infrastructure within the European Union, powerful GPU servers for AI/ML applications, advanced databases and modern development environments.

Our research infrastructure also includes a portable MarqMetrix Raman spectrometer for spectroscopy and machine-learning applications. We use technologies such as Microsoft Azure, .NET, MS SQL Server, Power BI, Angular, Node.js, Docker and Kubernetes.
