Alpha Electricity Account Management (ΔΕΗ) for Local Government, Public Sector & Businesses

Savings for municipalities, public organizations and businesses with many electricity supplies — all your organization's supplies, bills and consumption in one unified environment.

Alpha Electricity Account Management
Economy & control

A clear picture of energy cost

Get a clear picture of your energy cost, spot deviations early and organize daily work without Excel files and time-consuming manual checks.

One application for financial services, technical departments, facility managers and management teams that need reliable data to make better decisions.

The problem

Many supplies and facilities without an overall picture

When an organization manages dozens or hundreds of electricity supplies, information easily scatters across files, bills, departments and different people. Searching history becomes slow, consumption deviations are spotted late, and management struggles to know where energy spending really goes.

Manual processing increases administrative load and the risk of errors. At the same time, the lack of common classification by building, service, community or usage category makes comparisons and proper budget planning difficult.

From bills to actionable information
The solution

From bills to actionable information

Alpha Electricity Account Management consolidates the data of supplies, bills and power measurements into an organized database.

The application imports the available files (DFxxxxxx.zip, CMxxxxxx.txt, EMxxxxxxx.txt), performs integrity checks, matches records and presents consumption and cost through tables, maps, comparisons and alerts.

This way, services work on the same data picture, management gains documented information, and potential savings opportunities become visible earlier.

Who it's for

Municipalities, Regions & Municipal Enterprises

For organizations with a large, geographically distributed network of supplies:

  • Municipal & administrative buildings
  • Schools & social structures
  • Sports facilities
  • Pumping stations & water networks
  • Sewerage & wastewater treatment facilities
  • Street lighting, squares & public spaces
  • Cultural centers & other municipal infrastructure

The application offers a unified view of energy cost per community, category, facility and time period. Financial and technical services can spot unusual changes, track consumption trends and better document their decisions.

Public organizations

Universities, Hospitals & public organizations

For complex building complexes with different uses, multiple meters and increased operational-continuity requirements. Centralized monitoring helps:

  • Understand cost per building and facility
  • Control consumption and power measurements
  • Investigate significant deviations early
  • Prepare budgets and internal reports
  • Collaboration of financial, technical and administrative services
Universities, Hospitals & public organizations
Private sector

Businesses & large building portfolios

The application also addresses:

  • Businesses with many stores, branches or facilities
  • Hotel units & tourism accommodation groups
  • Industries, warehouses & facilities with power meters
  • Property management companies
  • Organizations with large & complex building portfolios

Each facility can be tracked separately and at the same time as part of the whole organization, so comparisons lead to immediate, practical actions.

In three simple steps
How it works

In three simple steps

From importing files to analysis and actions — with no repetitive manual entry.

Workflow

From files to actions

  1. Import files

You load the available account files (from the energy provider's environment, e.g. ΔΕΗ). The application organizes the records without repetitive manual entry.

  2. Check & matching

Supplies are matched to the facility category and their geographic location (ΕΓΣΑ87 or WGS84) and checked with predefined rules. Missing data, deviations or records needing attention appear together.

  3. Analysis & actions

You track consumption, cost and changes per period, category, community or building. Ready-made statistics, reports and organization of the responsible teams' next actions.

Capabilities

Key capabilities

A complete tool for tracking supplies, cost and consumption — with a unified registry, statistics, map and control rules.

Key capabilities
Capabilities

What it includes

Unified supply registry

A central record for each supply, with facility details, usage category, bills, history and map location.

Consumption & cost statistics

Comparisons by year, quarter or free period. Analysis of kWh, total cost, average cost and individual charges.

Facility map

Geographic display of supplies with filters and color categorization, for an immediate picture of the network's distribution.

Alerts & control rules

Detection of zero, increased or decreased consumption, unusual changes, problematic readings and other cases needing investigation.

Power measurements (cosφ)

A consolidated view of supplies, especially useful for facilities with high energy demands.

Categories & classification

Grouping by service, community, facility type or other functional category, according to the organization's structure.

Tasks & action history

Recording points needing checks, assigning actions and keeping history for better coordination of services.

Municipal fees & changes (ΤΑΠ, ΔΦ, ΔΤ)

Support for procedures on area (m²) changes and export of data for line-formatting to ΔΕΗ/ΔΕΔΔΗΕ — for correcting or fairly distributing municipal fees and taxes (for Municipalities).

What you gain

Benefits for your organization

Better control of energy spending

The overall cost picture lets management know which facilities, services or categories burden the budget most and how spending evolves over time.

Early detection of deviations

Comparisons and alerts help spot unusual increases, unexpected consumption or supplies needing checks earlier, before a deviation grows into a larger cost.

Less manual work

Organized import and processing of files reduces the time for gathering, copying and checking data; staff spend more time on evaluation and less on spreadsheets.

More reliable budgeting

History and per-period analysis provide a stronger basis for forecasts, internal reports, technical interventions and energy planning.

Transparency & accountability

Information is presented in a unified, understandable way, facilitating collaboration between services and documentation of decisions to management.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can it be used by an organization with hundreds of supplies?

Yes. The application is designed for the central management of many supplies and facilities, with filters, categories, a map and detailed statistics. You can import the monthly ΔΕΗ account files and load them into the application with one click.

Can we import data we already have in our own Excel with categorization?

Yes. Categories and notes can be imported for each supply and merged with the supply files, as long as they reference the electricity supply number. Data is organized in one unified environment, so financial, technical and administrative services work on a common, consistent picture.

Can GPS location data be imported from Excel?

Yes. Besides ΔΕΗ files with longitude/latitude (WGS84), if you have ΕΓΣΑ87 location data it can be imported easily via Excel files and show each supply on a unified map. Different coloring per category gives a unified view of cost per geographic area — e.g. view lighting costs of one community and compare with the previous year or the neighboring community. This makes Alpha Electricity Account Management an important tool for savings, decision-making and optimization.

Does it detect unusual consumption?

Yes. The application includes alerts and parametric control rules that highlight significant changes, zero consumption, power measurements below thresholds and other cases needing checks.

Can we see statistics and compare periods?

Yes. Supplies can be organized by community, service and facility category, and consumption and cost can be compared for specific periods (month, quarter, year or free interval). Reports are created for areas, categories, periods or even a single supply, and can be printed with one click as a decision-making tool for management.

Is training and technical support provided?

Yes. Alpha ΠΛΗΡΟΦΟΡΙΚΗ Α.Ε. created this specialized application back in 2001 and keeps developing it, providing installation, configuration, training and continuous online technical support anywhere in Greece.
